Todd M. Wincek

Todd M. Wincek was born in South Bend, Indiana on January 28, 1969, he is the oldest of two children born to Eric and Mary Lou Wincek. His brother, Andy is a Psychologist and writes and plays music in a successful rock band. Todd grew up in South Bend, Indiana and attended St. Joseph's High School. He graduated from Indiana University, Bloomington in 1991 (B.A. in History with minors in Psychology and Political Science). After college he began a successful career in retail management sales.

Todd later earned his Master's degree at Loyola University in 1995 (M.A. in United States History, focusing on Labor, Immigration and Social History). After completion of his studies, Todd attended Temple University School of Law in Philadelphia. While there, he was very involved in student government and various social justice causes. While attending law school full-time, he worked with the Consumer Bankruptcy Assistance Project of Philadelphia providing free bankruptcy services to the poor, working poor and other underrepresented members of the greater Philadelphia community. He also taught 6th grade civic classes at John Wannamaker Elementary School in north-central Philadelphia for two years.

Todd lives in Chicago in the Wrigleyville area and enjoys exploring the city and pursuing his interest in historical and genealogical research. He is still very involved in community and service mentoring.
